Something I Can Agree with Obama On

The White House is proposing cutting the ATF budget by 13%. While I would like to see an abolishment of it (and the corresponding regulations), I can certainly support this kind of a cut as a first step.

  1. Any kind of cut in governmental spending is a good thing. A cut for this particular agency is made of all kinds of win.

  4. As a lover of the shooting sports I tell my fellow shooters (especially my Demo friends) that this country should never elect an anti-gun politician. With 80-100 million gun owners it is inconceivable to me that anyone who does not respect the Constitution and apply it would ever be elected.

  5. Gun control has become something of a third rail for politicians. Even Democrats avoid being perceived as anti-gun.
